Accountant – Premium Furniture Business (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to support day‑to‑day bookkeeping and accounting for a newly acquired Italian furniture business in Dubai, specializing in premium furniture, interior solutions and lifestyle products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process and reconcile supplier/vendor invoices and payments.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Track and reconcile inventory transactions and stock valuations.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements and management dashboards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE regulations and VAT requirements.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 4 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, inventory accounting and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and full English proficiency.
• Strong analytical and process‑oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
• Open to partially/fully ACCA qualified accountants; ACCA students/affiliates may be considered.
