Accountant – QuickBooks & UAE Retail/E‑commerce Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Accountant with at least three years of UAE experience and strong QuickBooks expertise to support our growing retail, beauty and e‑commerce business. The role involves managing day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and providing insights that drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, budgets, management accounts and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, financial policies and accounting standards.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with management on financial strategies and support business growth.
• Assist with audits, tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Track inventory costs, perform pricing analysis for skincare and beauty products.
• Maintain records in QuickBooks and other accounting systems.
• Handle e‑commerce sales entries, payment‑gateway reconciliations and related reporting.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 4–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in retail, beauty, skincare or e‑commerce.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent) is a plus.
