Accountant – Remote (0-3 years)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our team remotely. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions, and supporting the overall accounting function while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, accounts, and transaction details.
• Record daily accounting entries, invoices, and expense reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and verify financial data accuracy.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and periodic reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams for accounting‑related requirements.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate financial issues when required.
• Follow accounting standards, company policies, and compliance guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in accounting or finance; freshers are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setup.
