Accountant – Restaurant Finance (Dubai)

About the role

SS Bucket Biryani Global Restaurant is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations and support the financial management of its restaurant business in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping and accounting records.
• Reconcile restaurant sales with POS reports, cash, credit‑card and online delivery platforms.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, verify supplier invoices and monitor outstanding balances.
• Perform bank, cash, credit‑card and POS reconciliations.
• Manage petty cash and daily cash transactions.
• Support inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, food costing and wastage analysis.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements, sales analysis, expense reports and cash‑flow reports.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing, UAE VAT calculations, documentation and filing.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation for audit purposes and support internal and external audits.
• Monitor expenses and provide cost‑control analysis for management.
• Ensure confidentiality of financial and business information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of UAE accounting experience, preferably in the food & beverage sector.
• Strong understanding of restaurant accounting and daily sales reconciliation.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and basic UAE accounting requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
