Accountant – Retail Trading (Dubai)

About the role

A retail trading company in the UAE is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands‑on experience with ODOO ERP, and a solid understanding of inventory accounting and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and inventory‑related reporting.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month‑end accounting activities.
• Maintain bookkeeping records, general ledgers, and financial documentation.
• Process accounting entries using ODOO ERP.
• Support internal financial controls and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare reports and analyses using Microsoft Excel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience in a retail trading company.
• Strong proficiency in ODOO ERP (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping and ledger management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• UAE driving licence is an added advantage.
