Accountant – Tax and Accountancy Services

About the role

WellTax is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Dubai office. You will handle UAE corporate tax, VAT and accounting compliance for both local and international clients while supervising junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT and accounting compliance work for UAE and international clients.
• Supervise, support and review the work of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day workflows within the junior accounting team and monitor internal deadlines.
• Prepare VAT returns, accounting schedules, management accounts and statutory accounts.
• Assist with corporate tax returns, tax computations, disclosures and supporting documentation.
• Support senior team members on corporate tax, VAT and transfer‑pricing projects.
• Draft tax memorandums, letters, compliance reports and other client deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, external regulators, auditors and professional advisers as required.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in accountancy, tax practice or a related professional services environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Ability to manage an own client portfolio and supervise junior staff.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet internal deadlines.
