Accountant – Tax, Compliance & Statutory Reporting

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with tax regulations across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait and Oman.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file VAT returns for UAE, KSA and Oman, perform VAT reconciliations and support audits.
• Assist with Corporate Income Tax and Withholding Tax computations, registrations and filings in the region.
• Compile data for Transfer Pricing documentation, Local and Master Files and Country‑by‑Country reporting.
• Support the annual In‑Country Value (ICV) certification and Local Content reporting requirements in UAE, KSA, Kuwait and Oman.
• Ensure compliance with e‑invoicing regulations, including system testing and integration with ERP.
• Maintain the general ledger, perform month‑end and year‑end close activities and liaise with auditors.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting/Finance and a professional qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA) – preferred.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE or GCC, with hands‑on VAT compliance.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently under multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• VAT compliance (UAE, KSA, Oman) and corporate tax knowledge.
• Transfer Pricing documentation and reporting.
• In‑Country Value / Local Content certification processes.
• E‑invoicing standards (ZATCA/Fatoora, XML/UBL, QR codes).
• ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Bank reconciliations and multi‑currency transaction handling.
