Accountant with Oracle ERP Experience

About the role

Andersen is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts department in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on day‑to‑day accounting operations using Oracle ERP/Finance modules, supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions, manage accounts payable, and ensure accurate recording in Oracle ERP.
• Perform bank, vendor, general ledger, and balance‑sheet reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records, handle petty‑cash transactions, and prepare supporting schedules.
• Assist junior team members and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve finance queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, balance‑sheet management, and reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
