Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting function for the assigned region, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and full tax compliance. This senior position oversees month‑end and year‑end processes while coordinating with the Controller and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise regional accounting activities, allocating resources effectively.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing, delivering timely and accurate financial statements.
• Review cash flow reports, budget versus actual performance, and support periodic budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain proper accounting records and an effective internal control environment.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer collections, and banking activities.
• Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, payments, and related reporting.
• Coordinate statutory accounts, tax returns, and tax compliance for the region.
• Liaise with external auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to the accounting and finance team.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, controls, and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
