Accounting & Operations Specialist Associate

About the role

The Accounting and Operations Specialist Associate will support the Accounting and Operations team of a leading international bank in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure accurate financial record‑keeping, efficient transaction processing, and compliance with regulatory requirements while contributing to month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and local regulatory reports.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Handle transaction processing for remittances, loans, deposits, trade finance, and treasury operations.
• Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report on key operational metrics and performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in accounting or banking operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and banking operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
