Accounts Assistant – Finance Team

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accounting records and processing invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare payment vouchers and aid monthly payroll processing.
• Maintain petty cash records and expense reports.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities.
• Support VAT documentation and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Female candidates preferred; Filipino females especially welcome.
