Accounts & Logistics Executive

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts & Logistics Executive to handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping, VAT compliance and logistics coordination for our trading and e‑commerce operations in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier and customer invoices, payments and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns and work with external accountants.
• Maintain supplier and customer statements and follow up on collections.
• Produce weekly cash and receivables reports.
• Prepare import documentation, including commercial invoices and certificates of origin, and manage customs clearance.
• Track inbound shipments, flag delays and coordinate with the 3PL on receiving, stock accuracy and outbound orders.
• Reconcile stock records against 3PL reports and support purchase order and goods‑received matching.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading, distribution or e‑commerce.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Strong command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Experience with UAE VAT and exposure to import documentation and customs clearance is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with an accounting system such as Zoho, QuickBooks or Xero.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT.
• Familiarity with import documentation and customs clearance processes.
