Accounts Officer Native Arab Speaker

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Officer who is a native Arabic speaker to manage daily accounting transactions, ensure compliance with UAE VAT, and support financial reporting for our Dubai office.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable, handle receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, receipts and other financial documents.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and ledger reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up promptly.
• Assist with month‑end closing, financial and management reporting.
• Support VAT return preparation and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks and internal departments on finance matters.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience with UAE accounting practices, VAT and financial reporting.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CA is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems such as Tally, Zoho Books, SAP or Oracle.
