Accounts Payable Officer – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is a luxury hotel brand seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage invoice processing, supplier payments and related financial activities. The role supports the finance department in maintaining accurate records and timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and process all invoices for payment after obtaining appropriate purchase orders and authorizations.
• Prepare scheduled payment listings and ensure payments are approved before processing.
• Perform monthly supplier reconciliations and meet all reporting obligations on time.
• Maintain an effective filing and reference system for finance department affairs.
• Arrange credit facilities with suppliers as needed.
• Maintain an accurate accruals register for period‑end closing.
• Undertake related duties and special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance.
• Understanding of invoices, purchase orders, payment processing, reconciliations, accruals and general ledger entries.
• Proficient in Excel, including formulas, sorting/filtering, PivotTables and lookups.
• Ability to accurately process large volumes of invoices, identify discrepancies and investigate duplicate invoices.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to manage deadlines, payment schedules and multiple priorities.
