Accounts Payable, Revenue & General Ledger Accountant

About the role

A leading UAE company is expanding its Finance Department and is looking for accounting professionals to join the team in Business Bay, Dubai. The role involves managing accounts payable, revenue accounting, or general‑ledger activities while ensuring accurate ERP records, supporting month‑end closing, preparing reports and complying with IFRS and internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process accurate financial entries, reconciliations and reports.
• Support month‑end closing and complete financial tasks on time.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP and accounting systems.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with accounting analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting and financial matters.

Required profile

• Current UAE residence is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant experience in the same role, either in the UAE or internationally.
• Effective communication skills and very good English proficiency.

Required skills

• Strong command of ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and month‑end closing procedures.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, revenue accounting, general ledger, financial reporting and reconciliations.
