Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

Join the finance team at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, a luxury property within the Minor Hotels portfolio. You will be responsible for processing invoices, managing supplier payments, and supporting month‑end financial activities in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and process all invoices for payment after obtaining the required purchase orders and authorizations.
• Prepare scheduled payment listings and ensure payments are approved before issuing payment orders.
• Perform monthly supplier reconciliations and maintain an accurate accruals register for period‑end closing.
• Maintain an effective filing and reference system to support the finance department’s operations.
• Arrange credit facilities with suppliers as needed and meet all reporting obligations on time.
• Execute related duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance.
• Strong understanding of invoices, purchase orders, payment processing, reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger entries.
• Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, sorting/filtering, PivotTables and lookups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to manage deadlines, payment schedules, and investigate invoice discrepancies.
