Accounts Receivable Clerk – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join the finance team at a luxury resort in Dubai. The role involves handling day‑to‑day receivable activities, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions and supporting the overall financial operations of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings and documents for accuracy and correct coding.
• Organise, secure and maintain files, records and cash equivalents in line with policies.
• Record, store and analyse financial information using computerised systems.
• Maintain electronic spreadsheets for accounting data.
• Classify, code and summarise numerical data using journals, ledgers and software.
• Prepare and distribute financial, accounting and audit reports.
• Execute period‑end closing procedures and related reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue invoices and account statements.
• Adhere to company policies, protect confidential information and ensure guest privacy.
• Provide professional service to guests and respond to inquiries.
• Perform light physical tasks such as moving items up to 10 lb.
• Support team objectives and undertake additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum one year of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow procedures.
