Accounts Receivable Officer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Officer will ensure accurate recording and processing of financial transactions for Aloft Abu Dhabi. This full‑time position supports the finance team by maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and delivering excellent service to guests and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding.
• Organise, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in line with policies.
• Record, store, access, and analyse computerized financial information.
• Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
• Classify, code, and summarise numerical data using journals, ledgers, or computer systems.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and related reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
• Follow all company policies, protect confidential information and company assets.
• Address guest service needs professionally and respond to telephone and email inquiries.
• Lift, move, or carry objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in finance or accounting.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
