Accounts Receivable Specialist – Hospitality

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will join Rixos Hotels' finance team in Dubai, ensuring accurate billing, payment processing, and ledger management for hotel guests and corporate clients. This position requires a detail‑oriented professional who can work independently and collaborate across departments to support the hotel's financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile pending “0 Status” city ledger accounts and prepare daily transfers.
• Prepare, verify, and distribute guest invoices.
• Process credit‑card transactions and related documentation each day.
• Print and distribute verified account statements promptly.
• Record all payments received and post monthly closing adjustments.
• Handle guest and client correspondence regarding invoices and outstanding payments.
• Maintain accurate, confidential financial records in line with Rixos policies.
• Stay informed about daily hotel activities, services, and facilities.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and attend scheduled training.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Director of Finance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role, preferably in hospitality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during month‑end closing, audits, or peak periods.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Professionalism, confidentiality, teamwork, and effective communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining accurate financial records and adhering to company credit policies.
