Adjunct Assistant Professor in Mathematics & Statistics

About the role

RIT Dubai is seeking an exceptional candidate to join the Mathematics and Sciences Department as an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the Spring semester (January – May 2027). The role involves teaching undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses at the 100‑300 level and supporting student learning through in‑person engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in mathematics and/or statistics, delivering lectures, discussions, and problem‑solving sessions.
• Design assignments, quizzes, exams, and other assessments, maintaining accurate records of grades and attendance.
• Hold regular in‑person office hours to assist students.
• Submit grades by institutional deadlines and attend required meetings or trainings.
• Follow university policies on instruction, academic integrity, and accessibility.

Required profile

• PhD degree in Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience teaching multiple university‑level mathematics and statistics courses.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with statistical software.
• Ability to integrate AI‑based tools and technology into teaching.
