Advisor Safety, Health & Environment (Construction Supervision)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Advisor Safety, Health & Environment to join our construction supervision team in Abu Dhabi. You will develop, implement and oversee safety, health and environmental programs across multiple construction projects, ensuring compliance with UAE labour laws and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain safety, health and environmental policies aligned with UAE regulations and best practices.
• Conduct hazard assessments, risk analyses and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Perform regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance.
• Investigate incidents, document findings and drive corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and awareness programmes to workers and supervisors.
• Maintain detailed records of safety performance, incidents and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to embed safety considerations into planning and execution.
• Serve as primary contact for safety‑related inquiries and coordinate with regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of safety, health and environment management experience in construction.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE labour laws, safety regulations and industry standards.
• Proven ability to conduct hazard identification, risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• NEBOSH (or equivalent) certification – preferred.
• Expertise in root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
