Africa Sales Territory Manager

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Africa Sales Territory Manager to lead partner‑focused sales across the continent. This hybrid role requires you to work on‑site two days a week from an HPE office while driving revenue, profitability and pipeline through strategic partner collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to partners such as VARs, distributors, system integrators, ISVs and managed service providers.
• Co‑create joint business plans that align with emerging market trends and HPE priorities.
• Lead data‑driven sales initiatives, forecasting and pipeline development with partners.
• Communicate HPE’s global and local strategies to enable sell‑through and sell‑with models.
• Develop deep knowledge of partner priorities, industry trends and the IT investment landscape.
• Build executive‑level relationships to expand HPE market share.
• Coordinate joint activities including sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings and client engagements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of enterprise sales experience, preferably within the technology sector.
• Proven success managing partner ecosystems (VAR, distributor, SI, ISV, MSP).
• Strong ability to develop and execute joint business plans and data‑driven sales strategies.
• Excellent executive‑level communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Solid understanding of IT trends, investment strategies and HPE product portfolios.
