Agency Products Engineer - Fire Fighting & Safety Products (Outside Sales)

About the role

BINTEC is looking for an Agency Products Engineer for fire fighting and safety products, working as an outside sales representative in Abu Dhabi. The role promotes and develops sales of authorised agency products and involves identifying new projects, customers and business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and develop sales of authorised agency fire fighting and safety products.
• Identify new projects, customers, contractors, consultants and business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with principals, consultants, contractors and end users.
• Prepare technical quotations, product selections, compliance statements and material submittals.
• Coordinate with principals on technical support, product information, pricing, availability and project requirements.
• Follow up with consultants and contractors on product approvals and specifications.
• Conduct product presentations and give technical assistance to customers.
• Review project specifications, BOQs and drawings to find suitable agency products.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, orders, deliveries and project requirements.
• Monitor upcoming projects, market demand and competitor activity to grow agency product sales.
• Support principals in developing their products and increasing market presence and sales.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory).
• Experience with fire fighting and safety products, preferably agency products.
• Bachelor's degree; 3 years of experience listed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with good typing and documentation skills.
• CRM software.
• Negotiation skills.
