Agriculture Project Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a practical and responsible Agriculture Project Engineer to independently manage landscaping, vegetable garden, hydroponic and indoor planting projects from client briefing to final handover. The role combines site assessment, technical planning, procurement coordination and on‑site supervision to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, capture measurements, photographs and assess conditions such as sunlight, water availability, irrigation, drainage, electrical needs and soil quality.
• Prepare detailed pre‑quotation execution plans covering plant varieties, pot sizes, soil/media, irrigation, hydroponic components, fertilizers, tools, equipment, labour requirements and logistics.
• Estimate material quantities accurately, assist in BOQ preparation and avoid over‑ordering or shortages.
• Coordinate with vendors and procurement, ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Supervise labour teams, manage daily schedules, monitor progress and enforce quality standards.
• Communicate regularly with clients, report findings to management and ensure smooth project handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of practical experience in agricultural or landscaping projects.
• Valid UAE driving licence – mandatory.
• Strong practical plant knowledge and familiarity with hydroponic and indoor planting systems.
• Excellent project and time‑management abilities, capable of managing labour teams efficiently.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
