AI Data Architect

About the role

Teamware Solutions is looking for an experienced AI Data Architect to design, govern, and optimise enterprise‑scale data, big‑data, analytics and AI platforms. You will shape the data foundation that powers machine‑learning, generative AI and advanced analytics initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise‑wide data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, data marts and big‑data environments supporting structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data.
• Define and enforce standards, reference architectures and best practices for batch, streaming and real‑time processing.
• Create conceptual, logical and physical data models and establish ingestion, integration, transformation and delivery patterns.
• Architect AI‑ready data platforms, including metadata, lineage, cataloguing and semantic layers for RAG, knowledge graphs, vector stores and MLOps.
• Implement data quality frameworks, governance processes and master‑data management to ensure trusted, discoverable data for model training and inference.
• Collaborate with data‑science and AI teams to guarantee platform readiness and provide architecture decision records.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, big‑data architecture or enterprise information management.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing large‑scale on‑premises data platforms.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise data warehouses and big‑data solutions.
