AI Platform Engineer – Enablement & Governance

About the role

Kraken’s Enterprise Transformation team is building the technical layer of its internal AI platform. You will design, implement, and govern integrations, tooling, and spend controls to enable safe, scalable AI usage across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build the integration surface and production runbooks for the AI platform.
• Own the governed integration gateway, handling connector onboarding, OAuth, federated identity, reliability, and vendor escalation.
• Develop internal tooling such as agent scaffolding, reusable skills, evaluation harnesses, and provisioning automation.
• Configure and operate tiered spend controls, set caps, build alerting, and manage reconciliation against vendor commitments.
• Implement technical controls for data handling, retention, and model eligibility, including identity integration, SSO, SCIM, and role‑based entitlement.
• Provide technical enablement, run deep‑dives, office hours, and author knowledge‑base material.

Required profile

• Experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms at 1,000+ seats, preferably AI/LLM platforms.
• Proven ability to build and ship software, not just configure vendor products.
• Strong operational discipline with experience managing intake queues, SLAs, runbooks, and escalation processes.
• Excellent teaching ability and clear written communication for technical documentation.

• Version control, CI/CD pipelines, containers, secrets management
• Integration with LLM and SaaS APIs, agent/tool calling patterns
• Identity and access management: Okta (or equivalent IdP), OAuth, SCIM, SSO, federated identity
• Atlassian administration (Jira, Confluence, JSM)
