AI Systems & Automation Engineer

About the role

VIKST, an AI-native performance marketing agency, is looking for an AI Systems & Automation Engineer to build its AI and automation infrastructure from the ground up. The role is full-time and 100% remote, starting as soon as possible. You will work across creative production, performance marketing, sales, reporting and operations, turning ideas into working solutions that make the company faster, more scalable and less dependent on manual work.

Key responsibilities

• Automate workflows across the company and replace inefficient third-party software with internal solutions where it makes sense.
• Build internal AI tools, software and systems, including creative production workflows with AI image, video and automation.
• Build systems for performance marketing, optimisation, reporting and analysis, and automate sales, lead management and operations.
• Connect platforms, APIs, AI models and internal systems, and test new AI technologies, keeping up with AI developments.
• Work directly with the Founder and teams to identify high-impact AI opportunities and maintain the systems you build.

Required profile

• Strong experience building AI-powered workflows and automations.
• Comfortable coding and building practical internal tools and software, not just no-code automations.
• Fluent English speaking and writing.
• Experience in performance marketing, eCommerce, advertising or agencies is a strong advantage but not required.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with modern AI models and APIs.
• Understanding of platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier or similar.
• Ability to build custom solutions when existing tools are not enough.
