AI/ML Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to join R&B Fashion’s technology team in Dubai. The role focuses on turning business challenges into scalable machine‑learning solutions that power our digital fashion platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business problems into ML formulations, select appropriate architectures (e.g., gradient boosting, transformers) and define success metrics.
• Build end‑to‑end pipelines covering feature extraction, model training, hyper‑parameter tuning and reproducible packaging.
• Optimize inference through quantization, distillation and mixed‑precision techniques for low‑latency CPU/GPU deployment.
• Implement MLOps practices: model versioning, experiment tracking, canary releases, real‑time and batch inference services, and monitoring for data drift and performance regression.
• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark/Databricks, enforce data contracts, and apply privacy‑by‑design principles for PII handling.
• Collaborate with product teams to design experiments, create model cards, and integrate models via APIs/SDKs with appropriate fallbacks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML or a related field.
• Proven experience designing, training and deploying production‑grade machine‑learning models.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on model fairness, calibration and cost‑sensitive evaluation.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with data engineers, product managers and stakeholders.
