Air Ticketing Executive

About the role

IIQAF Group of Companies is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Air Ticketing Executive in Dubai to handle airline reservations, flight bookings, ticket issuance and travel arrangements. The role covers domestic and international flights, airfare quotations, ticket changes and cancellations, and accurate travel documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Handle domestic and international flight reservations, bookings and ticket issuance, and process reissuance, cancellations, refunds and itinerary changes.
• Search and compare fares, flight schedules, routes and travel options, and prepare airfare quotations.
• Operate GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo for reservations and ticketing.
• Calculate airfares, taxes, surcharges, penalties and service fees; verify passenger details, passports and visa requirements.
• Provide information on baggage allowances, check-in requirements, airline policies and travel regulations.
• Coordinate with airlines and travel partners, maintain booking records and monitor schedule changes, cancellations and delays.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure compliance with fare rules and company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Travel and Tourism, Aviation Management, Hospitality or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience as an Air Ticketing Executive, Airline Ticketing Agent, Travel Consultant or Reservations Executive is an advantage.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer skills and ability to manage multiple bookings under pressure.

Required skills

• Familiarity with GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
• Understanding of airfare calculations, fare rules, ticket reissuance and refund procedures.
• Knowledge of airline booking systems, flight schedules and travel documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
