Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AMEL) Scholarship Programme – Emiratisation

About the role

Join Emirates' elite AMEL Scholarship designed exclusively for UAE nationals. Over five years you will progress from intensive classroom training to hands‑on maintenance work on live aircraft, ultimately earning a GCAA‑approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence.

Key responsibilities

• Complete three years of intensive theoretical and practical training at the Emirates Engineering Training College.
• Undertake two years of practical maintenance experience on live aircraft, applying learned skills to real‑world tasks.

Required profile

• Age between 18 and 24 years.
• Minimum Grade 12 score of 80 % and successful completion of National Service.
• UAE passport holder with a valid Khulasat Al Qaid.
• Medically fit and able to pass a medical examination.
• English fluency – TOEFL PBT ≥ 510, TOEFL iBT ≥ 4.0, or IELTS ≥ 6.0.
