Aircraft Systems Technician – Working Party

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an experienced Aircraft Systems Technician to join the IDSBCR Major Repair and Working Party team in Dubai. The role involves inspecting, maintaining and repairing a wide range of aircraft systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Execute modification embodiment or repair working parties, managing complex, high‑value, cross‑functional projects in line with EASA/FAR Part 145 regulations.
• Conduct upgrade embodiment activities on external customer aircraft.
• Perform major and complex repair projects, including incidental and fleet‑wide repairs.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel and environmental systems.
• Carry out scheduled inspections, repairs and modifications according to maintenance work orders.
• Use diagnostic equipment, technical manuals and system‑specific tools to resolve system‑related issues.
• Document all maintenance actions, parts used and labour hours in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance personnel to develop solutions for complex problems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or diploma preferred.
• EASA Part 66 licence or other aircraft maintenance licence is a plus.
• Experience in aircraft system maintenance and repair, preferably with exposure to flight test environments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel and environmental aircraft systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and system‑specific tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation.
• Understanding of EASA/FAR Part 145 airworthiness regulations.
