Ambulance Driver

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Ambulance Driver to join Academic Healthcare in Al Ain. The role involves delivering rapid, safe emergency response and patient transport across the campus and to regional hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, rapid, and compliant emergency vehicle response and patient transport across campus facilities and to regional hospitals in Al Ain.
• Assist campus nurses and medical crews with stretcher handling, patient loading, and non‑clinical emergency support.
• Perform daily vehicle pre‑shift checks, complete fleet maintenance reports, and maintain medical equipment cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Maintain complete daily logbooks covering response times, trips, and vehicle condition.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving license with at least 2–3 years of UAE driving experience.
• Prior experience as an ambulance or emergency vehicle driver is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with Al Ain roads and key hospital locations (e.g., Tawam, Al Ain Hospital).
• First Aid, CPR, or BLS certification is a strong plus.
• Good command of English; basic Arabic is a plus.
• Calm demeanor and willingness to work 60 hours per week.
