Applied Behavior Therapist (DOH License Required)

About the role

Ability Pediatric Rehabilitation Center in Abu Dhabi seeks a qualified Applied Behavior Therapist to deliver evidence‑based ABA interventions for children and young adults with developmental challenges. The role requires a valid DHA/DOH license and up to 7 hours of direct therapy per day.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Applied Behavioral Analysis, Discrete Trial Therapy, Natural Environment Teaching, and related interventions as outlined in each client’s plan.
• Collect, document, graph, and analyze data on an electronic device, ensuring timely session notes and accurate client records.
• Execute behavioral intervention protocols, prompt‑fading procedures, and social‑skills training for individuals or groups.
• Assist with assessments, describe behavior in observable terms, and maintain up‑to‑date client information.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA, report any client concerns, and incorporate feedback into practice.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.
• BCBA certification highly preferred.
• Minimum two years of ABA therapy experience with children on the autism spectrum or related developmental disorders.
• Valid DHA or DOH license (or eligibility).
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles, techniques, and ethical guidelines.
