Arabic Speaking Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead daily accounting operations for a Dubai‑based client, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with local standards. Fluency in Arabic is required to interact effectively with regional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and perform account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Monitor cash flow, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide financial analysis to management.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial controls and reporting procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or CMA is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar senior finance role, preferably within the UAE or Gulf region.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities and the capacity to meet multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
