Arabic Teacher

About the role

The Arabic Teacher at Smart Vision School will deliver high‑quality, engaging Arabic lessons aligned with the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum. The role focuses on fostering academic, linguistic, social and emotional development while promoting Arabic language appreciation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Arabic language lessons using varied teaching strategies, including ICT and creative approaches.
• Adapt instruction to support Students of Determination, ELL learners and diverse abilities.
• Assess, record and report student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting learning targets.
• Maintain classroom behaviour standards aligned with school policies and Islamic/Arabic values.
• Develop schemes of work, teaching materials and embed UAE heritage and culture across the curriculum.
• Participate in professional development, departmental meetings and school community activities.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Arabic language or education.
• Minimum two years’ teaching experience in a school setting.
• Strong command of Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and wellbeing requirements.
• Empathetic, collaborative and organised with high emotional intelligence.
