Arabic Teacher

About the role

The Arabic Teacher at Smart Vision School is responsible for delivering high‑quality, engaging, and inclusive Arabic lessons that support academic, linguistic, social, and emotional development. The role aligns with UK Teachers’ Standards, the KHDA Education Inspection Framework, and the UAE Ministry of Education Arabic curriculum, ensuring excellence in teaching, safeguarding, wellbeing, inclusion, and student achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Arabic language lessons aligned with the UAE MoE curriculum and school schemes of work.
• Adapt lessons to support Students of Determination, ELL learners, and students with diverse abilities, using ICT and creative approaches.
• Assess and record student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and producing clear reports.
• Establish consistent behaviour expectations, promote respect and inclusion, and safeguard students from abuse or bullying.
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching materials that embed UAE heritage, culture, and values.
• Participate in continuous professional development, departmental meetings, and school events.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Arabic language or education.
• Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of assessment, differentiation, and inclusion.
• Excellent command of Arabic and English, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and wellbeing requirements.
• Desirable experience teaching in the UAE or international schools and familiarity with KHDA inspection standards.
