Architect – Design & Development Lead

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Architect to lead the design and development of innovative architectural projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will translate client visions into compelling designs, manage technical complexities, and ensure efficient project execution within approved schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of architectural projects from inception through completion, aligning with client objectives.
• Review, analyze, and approve conceptual designs, technical drawings, and specifications while maintaining high quality standards.
• Coordinate technical and administrative activities across departments and with external stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and efficient delivery.
• Develop and implement innovative architectural methods, mentor design personnel, and maintain liaison with drafting and construction teams.
• Analyze building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards applicable to UAE and international markets to ensure full compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification; professional architecture license or registration is required.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in architectural design, project delivery, and team leadership.
• Experience in the Middle East, particularly familiarity with UAE construction practices and standards, is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with advanced modeling software and tools for detailed technical documentation and presentations.
• Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants to optimize design solutions.
