Architectural Coordinator - Marine, Road and Infrastructure

About the role

The Architectural Coordinator for marine, road and infrastructure projects coordinates architectural design activities across marine facilities, road networks and infrastructure projects. The role supports multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction, ensuring design information is coordinated, compliant with project requirements and delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural design with civil, structural, marine, transportation, utilities and MEP teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, design calculations and technical submissions for coordination and consistency.
• Support the integration of architectural requirements into marine and port facilities, roads, public spaces and related infrastructure.
• Track design deliverables, comments, approvals and revisions against project schedules.
• Identify design interfaces, discrepancies and potential clashes and coordinate their resolution with stakeholders.
• Assist with design briefs, reports, technical documentation and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities to clarify requirements and obtain reviews and approvals.
• Support site visits and construction-stage coordination, including technical queries and proposed changes.
• Monitor compliance with codes, standards, accessibility requirements, safety provisions and project specifications.
• Maintain records of drawings, correspondence, decisions and design changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Experience coordinating architectural design on marine, road, infrastructure or other large-scale multidisciplinary projects.
• Understanding of design coordination processes, construction documentation and project delivery stages.
• Familiarity with building codes, accessibility requirements and infrastructure design standards.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills; ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage several deliverables at once.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety and project requirements.
• Professional registration or relevant project-management or BIM training is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit or Navisworks
