Architectural-Engineering (AE) Draftsman

About the role

You will prepare accurate architectural and engineering drawings and technical details for a range of building development projects. You will work under the direction of the BIM Coordinator, Project Manager and design leads to turn design intent into clear, coordinated construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update architectural and engineering drawings, details and schedules.
• Convert design sketches and markups into accurate CAD/BIM drawings.
• Coordinate drawings across disciplines to resolve basic clashes before issue.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions and issue sheets.
• Check drawings for accuracy, scale and compliance with drafting standards.
• Support drawing issue, transmittals and as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Fluent English (Arabic a plus).
• Diploma or degree in Architectural/Civil Engineering, Draughtsmanship or a related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years' experience as a draftsman on architectural, engineering or interior fit‑out projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit; Autodesk (ACC)/BIM 360 a plus.
• Strong 2D drafting and 3D modelling skills.
• High attention to detail and solid organisational abilities.
