Area Manager – Operations

About the role

As an Area Manager – Operations you will lead a large, diverse team at an Amazon fulfillment site in the United Arab Emirates. You will ensure safety, productivity and quality while adapting to fast‑changing demand and operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing across all shifts.
• Analyse performance data, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Support and lead a team, handling administrative tasks and fostering a strong team culture.
• Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes and optimise work flow.
• Monitor process efficiency, manage escalations and contribute to contingency planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
