Art Director – Creative Lead for Hospitality Brands

About the role

Independent Food Company, a UAE‑based hospitality group behind brands such as SALT, Parker’s, Somewhere and others, is seeking an Art Director to lead the visual direction of content across all its brands. You will shape the look and feel of social media, video, photography and campaign assets, ensuring each piece reflects the brand’s voice while staying fresh and engaging.

Key responsibilities

• Lead creative direction for content across all Independent brands, covering social, video, photography and campaigns.
• Transform briefs and brand moments into strong content ideas and guide them through to final delivery.
• Direct shoots and production, collaborating with photographers, videographers, editors and designers.
• Maintain alignment of content with each brand’s identity and tone while introducing fresh concepts.
• Set clear creative direction to enable rapid, consistent, high‑quality output.
• Review and sign off on all content against brand and quality standards.
• Manage and develop the content team, providing feedback and guidance.
• Coordinate with marketing and brand stakeholders to plan content that supports wider campaigns and calendars.
• Organise production workflows to meet deadlines and ensure consistency across brands.

Required profile

• Strong art‑direction experience, preferably in content‑led environments such as social media, video and photography.
• A sharp creative eye with the ability to translate brand identity into engaging visual content.
• Proven experience directing shoots and production from concept to final cut.
• Experience managing creative teams and delivering high‑quality work.
• Ability to balance speed and quality in a fast‑paced, high‑volume content setting.
