Art Teacher – Start August 2026

About the role

The ADNOC Schools network is seeking a qualified Art Teacher to join its Abu Dhabi campus starting August 2026. You will deliver the Massachusetts State Curriculum in a modern, technology‑enabled environment and inspire students to develop their artistic abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Create a supportive learning climate for outstanding artistic practice.
• Define clear teaching and learning objectives for art lessons.
• Design challenging tasks that engage students and maintain high interest.
• Set demanding expectations and clear targets, building on prior attainment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of SEN and gifted students.
• Structure lessons to maintain pace, motivation and challenge.
• Use assessment for learning and performance data to inform planning.
• Maintain discipline in line with the Behaviour for Learning Policy.
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies, including effective questioning and use of ICT and library resources.
• Mark student work regularly (at least bi‑weekly) and set progress targets.
• Record and monitor student progress systematically and use data to add value to teaching.
• Prepare and present assessments as required by examination bodies and school procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to create an engaging, disciplined classroom environment.
• Experience identifying and supporting SEN or highly able students through differentiation.
• Strong organisational skills for lesson planning, assessment and record‑keeping.
• Commitment to using technology and varied resources to enhance learning.
