Assembly Technician – Composites

About the role

The Assembly Technician – Composites is responsible for producing high‑quality composite parts using a variety of lay‑up and infusion techniques. The role supports prototyping and production by preparing, assembling, and finishing composite structures according to engineering drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Perform composite lamination tasks including prepreg, lay‑up, wet lamination and vacuum infusion based on engineering specifications.
• Trim, sand, fill and fair components using power tools and hand measurements.
• Operate hand tools and workshop machines safely and efficiently to support production flow.
• Conduct bonding, test fitting, adjustment and troubleshooting of complex composite assemblies during prototyping.
• Set up, clean, maintain and service equipment in line with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain workstations, tools and ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Document assembly processes, inspection results and provide feedback reports.
• Assist with integration and testing of composite assemblies that include electrical or hydraulic components.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in a composites production environment.
• Prior experience working in the UAE or broader Middle East is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Composite lamination techniques (prepreg, lay‑up, wet lamination, vacuum infusion).
• Proficient use of power tools, hand tools and workshop machinery.
• Equipment setup, cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Bonding, test fitting, adjustment and troubleshooting of composite assemblies.
• Inspection, documentation and integration testing with electrical/hydraulic systems.
