Asset Coordinator

About the role

The Asset Coordinator supports the efficient handling of company assets, overseeing inventory movements, and ensuring materials are securely stored and delivered to project sites. This role combines inventory control with transportation planning to maintain asset integrity and timely project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the transport of materials from stores to delivery points, guaranteeing on‑time and undamaged arrivals.
• Manage transportation planning activities, including scheduling, routing, vehicle maintenance, and optimisation of delivery routes.
• Collect, update, and maintain asset infrastructure data, performing condition inspections and mapping as required.
• Maintain the asset registry through regular inspections and accurate data entry using asset management information systems.
• Advise on preventative maintenance schedules and ensure drivers follow these schedules to protect vehicle and asset health.
• Analyse and visualise asset and transportation data to support decision‑making.
• Keep precise records for both asset management and transportation coordination.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor or manager.

Required profile

• At least a high‑school diploma or a university degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in asset coordination, logistics, or transportation planning.
