Asset Data and Reliability Engineering Specialist

About the role

The Asset Data & Reliability Engineering Specialist ensures the integrity, coordination and governance of data across all airports, including as-built drawings, GIS platforms and enterprise asset management systems. The role keeps physical asset information and spatial data accurately aligned within Maximo, supporting asset registers, data quality and trend analytics, and works between the Operations and Data Analytics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update GIS and base-plan data to reflect as-built conditions across airport facilities
• Act as the central point for receiving, validating and coordinating as-built drawings from projects, fit-outs, minor works and changes, working closely with CP&C
• Keep as-built drawings, spatial data and asset information aligned within Maximo and related digital platforms
• Support asset registers, asset mapping and FM data in Maximo, and coordinate interfaces between CMMS, GIS, BMS, SCADA and other building technologies
• Support data governance: consistent terminology, data structures and quality checks
• Analyse failure history and asset performance to identify reliability risks, monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR and asset availability, and support root cause analysis
• Validate data used for reporting and dashboards, and help prepare performance dashboards and reports
• Provide systems access and guidance to Asset Facilities Management teams on using the GIS application and its data
• Work with internal and external stakeholders and promote best-practice, value-assured approaches to asset and data management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Engineering, Construction or a similar field
• More than 5 years' experience in projects, building data or construction roles, preferably in an airport or other large-scale infrastructure setting
• Ability to work in AutoCAD for base changes, schematics and as-built information, including version control and indexing
• Ability to maintain the GIS interface, asset metadata and underground utilities, linked to the CMMS platform

Required skills

• Competent AutoCAD
• Experience with as-built drawings and integrated data GIS applications
• Power BI dashboard analytics preferred
• Data quality assurance, documentation QA/QC, and Excel commands for large data sets
