Asset Superintendent

About the role

The Asset Superintendent will provide functional and operational support to maximise the return on investment of the company's assets throughout their lifecycle. This role ensures that fleet management plans align with stakeholder objectives and are recognised as industry best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the NMDC Group Asset Management Manual to reflect evolving requirements.
• Oversee the Inspection Team, conducting asset inspections and assessments.
• Manage on‑shore technical administration activities.
• Keep the NMDC D&M FAR system current and accurate.
• Maintain the NMDC Energy AMS system up‑to‑date.
• Handle asset write‑off processes and disposals.
• Plan, report, and update physical asset inventories.
• Produce departmental reports on equipment allocation, fuel consumption, and key performance indicators.
• Monitor and manage the Fuel Management system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in asset lifecycle and fleet management.
• Ability to ensure regional consistency and benchmark asset performance.
• Strong organisational skills for managing inspections, inventories, and reporting.
• Familiarity with asset management manuals and industry best practices.
