Assistant Branch Manager

About the role

The Assistant Branch Manager will supervise the retail sales area, ensuring targets are met while delivering high‑level customer service and fostering a supportive environment for staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adequate staffing of the retail sales department and raise concerns to the Branch Manager.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to Customer Service Officers (CSOs).
• Support the Branch Manager in implementing retail sales change initiatives.
• Actively sell and cross‑sell asset and liability products to new and existing customers.
• Monitor CSO daily operations, authorize necessary actions, and step in to serve customers during peak times.
• Assign tasks fairly to ensure all work is completed by day‑end.
• Ensure activities comply with audit, risk, legal and policy requirements.
• Achieve NPS targets by representing FAB values and maintaining a customer‑obsessed approach.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 10 years of relevant banking experience, with at least 5 years in progressively senior managerial roles within branch networks.
