Assistant Cluster Safety Manager

About the role

Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, a luxury hotel owned by Ennismore, is hiring an Assistant Cluster Safety Manager. The role ensures a safe environment for employees and guests and protects the hotel's assets, assisting the Country Director of Security in overseeing daily safety and security operations across two hotel properties.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, guide and monitor Security Officers to ensure efficiency, discipline, vigilance and compliance with security standards.
• Train security team members in CCTV operations, incident reporting, patrol procedures, access control, emergency response and first aid.
• Conduct regular security patrols, inspections and operational audits, and carry out internal investigations and incident reporting.
• Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment, and coordinate emergency responses such as fire, medical incidents, bomb threats, evacuations and police assistance.
• Coordinate between the security teams of both properties and other hotel departments, and assist in performance appraisals and team development.
• Carry out security risk assessments, maintain brand standards among security staff, and liaise with local authorities, Dubai Police, Civil Defence and other emergency services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hotel security, preferably in five-star or luxury hospitality in the UAE.
• Valid SIRA Security Supervisor or relevant security personnel certification, and First Aid, CPR and AED certification.
• Certified Fire Warden / Fire Marshal training and Civil Defence-approved fire safety and emergency response training.
• Knowledge of UAE fire and life safety regulations, SIRA requirements and local security procedures.
• Fluency in English; Arabic and additional languages are an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience operating CCTV surveillance, access control and security management systems.
• Training in incident investigation, emergency management, crisis response and security risk assessment.
• Strong leadership, communication, report-writing and team management skills.
