Assistant Cost Manager

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Assistant Cost Manager to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will support pre‑contract cost management services across a range of construction projects, working closely with senior colleagues and project stakeholders to develop technical, commercial and client‑management expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility estimates, cost plans, budgets and benchmarking exercises, and maintain cost plans through all design stages.
• Develop tender documentation, bills of quantities and procurement packages, and assist with tender strategy and commercial assessments.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops and cost review sessions, preparing presentations and commercial recommendations.
• Maintain accurate project cost records, procurement documentation and cost management reports, supporting cost management systems and governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 1‑5 years of professional experience in quantity surveying, cost management or construction consultancy.
• Demonstrated experience supporting both pre‑contract and post‑contract cost management services.
