Assistant Credit Manager – UAE Nationals

About the role

Emirates Islamic Bank is seeking a motivated UAE national to join its credit administration team. The Assistant Credit Manager will support wholesale, commercial, and wealth‑management units by preparing and managing facility and security documentation, ensuring compliance with approval terms, Shariah guidelines, and internal credit policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare facility letters, security agreements and related documentation in line with approved terms.
• Review customer‑executed documents for compliance with credit policy and Shariah requirements.
• Identify documentation risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Verify signatures, resolutions and powers of attorney for all executed documents.
• Maintain collateral registers, limit management databases and produce MIS reports for stakeholders.
• Assist Relationship Managers in gathering required documentation.
• Execute ad‑hoc projects or tasks assigned by the line manager or unit head.

Required profile

• UAE national with strong technical skills in credit control functions.
• Good understanding of Islamic banking products and credit policies.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess documentation risks.
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
